Proxy auf Server einrichten

Hallo,

ich suche verzweifelt im Internet etwas brauchbares zu finden, wie man einen Proxy einrichten kann.
Es ist doch in den meisten Arbeitsnetzwerken etc. der Fall, dass ausgehende Anfragen über einen Proxyserver laufen.

Kann mir einer brauchbare Links oder Anweisungen bzw. Anleitungen zu Proxys geben?

Ich brauche den Proxy um die Funktionalität eines WCF Clients testen zu können und das leider in kürzester Zeit.

Hi, danke für den Link. Ich hatte das auch schonmal gefunden, wollte mich aber informieren ob es bessere Lösungen gibt, aber anscheinend passt Squid ja.

Ich wollte jetzt erst einmal die Version für Windows ausprobieren.

Um eine Authentifizierung einzurichten benötige ich doch nur diese drei Zeilen oder?

Und was sind die gängigen Proxyauthentifizierungsmethoden?
Man kann doch nicht alles benutzen oder?

Wenn ich einen Client per Proxy auf meinen Webserver verbinden möchte, muss ich aber wahrscheinlich alle Authentifizierungsmethoden bereitstellen (Client-Side zum Einstellen) oder?

Der Client-Service wird in verschiedenen Netzwerken benutzt und muss natürlich über jeden Proxy laufen können, was muss ich dafür alles Konfigurieren um alle Möglichkeiten testen zu können?

Hi, meint ihr es reicht, wenn man die Standardproxyeinstellungen des Systems benutzen kann oder einen eigenen Proxy mit Anmeldeinformationen verwenden kann?

Und was passiert wenn ich https Anfragen über einen http Proxy sende?
