wahrscheinlich IDE-Controller defekt!?!

Hallo Leute,

ich habe ein etwas älteres notebook, welches sich momentan nur über eine externe Festplatte nutzen lässt(dank Ubuntu ohne Probleme). Der Grund dafür ist, dass es kein OS länger als eine halbe auf der Platte überlebt, wenn diese im NB eingebaut ist. Ich vermute eine kalte Lötstelle, gebrochene Leitung oder irgendetwas in der Art auf dem MB. Denn wenn der IDE-Controller komplett futsch wäre, würde das CD-Rom Laufwerk rummucken, desweiteren würde er die Festplatte dann nicht im BIOS erkennen, was er aber schafft(auch wenn sie lauter !!!!!! hinter sich hat).

Was meint ihr dazu? Was könnte es sein?

die habe ich jetzt im externen Gehäuse laufen........
 
das ist natürlich was anderes. naja dann scheint wohl wirklich was mit deinem board nicht zu stimmen.
