Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro im Test: Spiele- und Anwendungsbenchmarks

Zwei Core Ultra 300 „Panther Lake“ der X-Serie hatte ComputerBase bereits im Test: Den Core Ultra X9 388H mit Arc B390 und den Core Ultra X7 358H mit Arc B390. Auf dem Papier liegen beide in Sachen Grafik- respektive Gaming-Leistung gleichauf, die Tests bestätigten das aber nicht. Das lag allerdings an RAM-Takt und TDP-Korsett.
GPU-Taktraten unter Last
Der Blick auf die in den Gaming-Benchmarks protokollierten Taktraten und Verbräuche der CPU zeigt dabei, dass X9 388H im Zenbook Duo und X7 358H im Galaxy Book 6 Pro in dieser Disziplin noch immer nicht ganz auf Augenhöhe liegen, aber der Unterschied ist klein: Im Durchschnitt um zwei Prozent niedriger taktet die Arc B390 im Notebook von Asus, mutmaßlich weil auch die TDP im Durchschnitt um neun Prozent niedriger liegt. Aber wie schnell ist der X7 mit zwei Prozent weniger GPU-Takt, aber gleichem RAM-Takt jetzt im Vergleich zum bereits getesteten X9?

Getestet hat ComputerBase das erneut im schon zuletzt genutzten iGPU-Gaming-Testparcours, die Einstellungen lauteten dabei wie folgt:

Das Ergebnis spricht eine klare Sprache: Im Durchschnitt trennen X9 388H und X7 358H in diesem Vergleich nur noch drei Prozent bei den FPS, was gut mit den zwei Prozent Takt-Unterschied korrespondiert. Die zuvor zwischen X7 und X9 bestehende Lücke von 12 Prozent, die mutmaßlich im Wesentlichen auf den RAM-Takt-Unterschied zurückzuführen war, wird fast vollständig geschlossen.

In einigen Benchmarks gibt es dabei sogar einen Gleichstand, der größte Unterschied bleibt in Cyberpunk 2077 bestehen: Die 6 Prozent lassen sich in diesem Fall nicht dem Taktunterschied (auch nur 2 Prozent) zuordnen, aber auch beim wiederholten Ausführen war der X7 358H im Galaxy Book 6 Pro nicht in der Lage, das Niveau des X9 388H im Zenbook Duo zu erreichen.

Anwendungsleistung
Das Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro kann dank zweitschnellstem X-Prozessor der 300H-Serie von Intel auch in Anwendungen eine sehr gute Leistung zeigen. Wie eingangs bereits gezeigt, hängt es dabei natürlich zum Teil an der TDP-Einstellung, denn wie üblich ist der Prozessor in einem Notebook nur so schnell, wie dieses ihn arbeiten lässt. Dank allerschnellstem RAM kommt aber selbst der kleine X-Prozessor sehr oft an das Flaggschiff heran.
