2x gtx 750 Ti 4Gb auf msi 970 läuft nicht!

Hallo meine lieben,

Ich habe mir 2x die gleiche Grafikkarte gekauft, weil ich eine per Passtrought per KVM durchreiche und die andere für mein Linux habe. Problem ist, dass nur eine Grafikkarte auf dem Mainboard erkannt wird. Einer eine Idee?

Motherboard: MSI 970 Gaming
CPU: AMD FX 8350
Festplatten: 1x 1 TB 1x 2TB
RAM: 32 GB
GPU: 2x gtx 750 Ti 4 GB Windforce nvidia (die gleiche) PCI-Express

Kann das sein, dass was mit dem 8x oder 16x oder 32x zu tun hat?

sicher das Board und CPU überhaupt den Passthrough unterstützen? Weiß nicht ob AMD-V alleine bei der Plattform dazu reicht, aber ist das aktiviert im BIOS? Und der Treiber darf nicht auf SLI stehen, überprüf das mal

Könnte sogar mit SLI zu tun haben falls das Board keine Lizenz dafür hat. Dazu funktionieren doch nvidia Karten schlechter bis gar nicht mit passthrough, oder?

lspci erkennt nur eine Karte?

Ja sicher geht das. Mein Hauptproblem ist eher, dass nur eine Grafikkarte angezeigt wird im Bios. Beide funktionieren, wenn ich sie einzelnt anschließe. Daher möchte ich erreichen, dass sie beide vom Bios erkannt werden. Oder geht das nur mit verschiedenen Grafikkarten?

Ja nur eine Karte wird erkannt, deswegen kam mir der Gedanke, eventuell das man verschiedene Kartenmodelle braucht?

Das hat nix mit verschiedenen Modellen zu tun. Sondern wohl mit SLI was das Board nicht unterstützt.
Ich habe nix vom BIOS gefragt sondern die lspci Ausgabe.
Wird eine einzelne Karte im x4 Slot erkannt?

Für seinen Zweck braucht er doch garkein SLI, im Gegenteil, das würde sein Vorhaben verhindern...
Daran liegt es also bestimmt nicht.

Hi,

das Mainboard unterstützt doch nur Multi-GPU: AMD 2-Way-CrossFireX (x8/​x8), können dann überhaupt 2 Nvidia Karten laufen ?

edit: OK auf der MSI Seite wird auch was von SLI gesagt, bei geizhals nur crossfire

Einzelnt werden sie angezeigt im BIOS, dort wird eine grafische Belegung angezeigt. Wird die eine rausgezogen, wird die andere erkannt und umgekehrt.

Ein 8Pin EPS Stecker eingesteckt am Board?
UEFI Version M.4 drauf?

Wenn du kannst, mal 2 verschiedene Karten einstecken. Das Board müsste es können, aber wenn es eben nicht geht musst du dich an MSI wenden.

Jedes Mainboard verträgt mehr als eine Grafikkarte.

Werde versuchen eine andere Grafikkarte einzubauen, denn habe so den Verdacht, dass 2 gleiche Karten ohne SLI zu Verwirrungen im Rechner sorgen könnten. Werde Euch auf dem laufenden halten, ob es mit einer anderen Karte klappt.
