ein nerviges Problem nach dem Standby. Das Problem trat schon unter Ubuntu Mate 18.04 auf, jetzt auch mit Linux Mint 20, wobei das Homeverzeichnis dasselbe ist.
Ich habe nach dem Standby Bildstörungen im Chromium und Chrome, die nach einem Neustart der Browser weg sind:

Im Firefox tritt das Problem nicht auf. Kann sich jemand darauf einen Reim machen? Defekten VRAM kann ich mir nicht so recht vorstellen, da das nur nach dem Standby auftritt.
 
Klingt für mich nach einem Treiberproblem,
versuch mal die Hardwarebeschleunigung des Browsers auszuschalten
