Config wird nicht übernommen!

da mein CS 1.6 rumgespackt hat, wollte ich mal alles neu aufsetzen

exec userconfig.cfg

so, nur leider wird sie nicht von steam übernommen, sondern immer nur die standard einstallungen !

Config.cfg (keine txt) ist in cstrike und nicht schreibgeschützt !

Woran kann es liegen ?. hatte steam davor auf einer anderen partition installiert !

BTW: ist meine Config so gut ?

Liegt Steam jetzt im C:\Programme-Ordner?

Es interessiert weder Windows noch Steam selber wo der Ordner Steam ist.
Ich hatte Steam mal ne Zeit lang auf ner externen HDD und es hat alles funktioniert.

Kann uach in der normalen Config drin sein !

Ich weiß, jedoch ist es einfacher weitere Befehle in die userconfig.cfg zu schreiben.

Du kannst ja den Inhalt deiner jetzigen CFG auch in die userconfig.cfg schreiben, dann müssten die Befehle (vllt zwar doppelt) ausgeführt werden.

Wenn du zufällig noch Windows Vista oder Windows 7 hast, dann würde ich mal schauen, ob dein CS evtl die Config-Datei aus dem VirtualStore holt...

Unter Windows 7 findest du es hier: C:\Users\[BENUTZERNAME]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
oder so ähnlich ^^ (also schauen, obs da drin nen Steam-Ordner samt CS-Ordner gibt...)

Windows 3.1 würde vllt Probleme machen, aber unter XP, Vista & 7 lief es bei mir problemlos ohne Installation.

Bevor du Nonsens schreibst, solltest du erst mal verstehen, worauf du antwortest...

also in deiesm ordner sind keine steam datein drin !

Wenn du Steam Cloud an hast, deaktiviere es mal und ersetze deine config wieder durch die neue.
Ansonsten hätte ich es auch mit dem Schreibschutz-Trick gemacht
