hat jmd. von euch den Dark Rock Pro 3 erfolgreich mit Skylake laufen. Explizit geht es um folgende Problematik:
The Dark Rock 3 Back plate is absolutely NOT compatible with some motherboard LGA 1151.
I've a MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon with a dark rock 3.
And some through hole pins of capacitors near CPU are too long for the back plate. They touch the metalic part of the backplate and are under pressure. Fortunately, the metalic part has a plastic film so it's not conductive. But the pressure applied on the capacitor pins can cause a solder or a pad rupture... This cause DRAM error during start-up (capacitive effect ???)
The system is very powerfull and quiet, but the backplate is a real problem. Compare it to other system (noctua, corsair) and you will see the difference. Big metalic square for BeQuiet, something like a cross for other system...
