hallo Janski, hier die lösung:
its the isntaller what is borked for demo and most likely for the whole game itself. you need have enough space on C: drive or use registry edit till its fixed>>
if you get the ?no free space to install error? you go START->RUN->write REGEDIT and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version . in the right side of this menu you will find ?ProgramFilesDir?. modify it and instead of C: type a partition you want to install the game in (at least 7gigs required). After the game is installed, go back an change the ProgramFilesDir with the initial address
Well....I would say this worked, but I would not totally be telling the truth. I think. For those of of using a 64 bit operating system, everything is always more complicated. While I did find the folder that you mentioned, it still wanted to install to the C:\ drive. However, using the handy search feature in regedit, I found another instance of "ProgramFilesDir" in the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion" folder. Changing THOSE values to D: (or whatever) fixed it for me! Now, I think this only applies to 64 bit windows, or maybe something else, I don't know. I DO know that after I changed those values, though, FEAR installed. Happy killing! Thanks for the help!
