Since update was installed on my phone I'm unable to cancel screen rotation mode.
No option shows, as before
Why this? Installing an update was a mistake
How can this be corrected?

i cant test it, but: Settings > Display > Auto-rotate screen

Alternatively, if you have pulled down the notification bar twice, it will open on the entire screen. A pencil is then displayed at the bottom, which you can use to configure your notification window.
