I saw that Computer base tested P5K3 Asus mainboards in RAID configuration.

Could you tell me how you install Windows in a RAID configuration and with witch drivers ?

I made a raid driver floppy with Asus bootable CD (option a : Intel ICH9)

When i hit F6 in XP install , Windows didn't recognized my RAID Arrays (2 * 150 Go raptor)

I downloaded Intel driver in Intel's website : same thing .

I think the driver we could find on internet are not theright one for this Mainboard.

Thanks for your help.

AW: P5k3

I was very surprised when I read your thread, because its the first one in English in this forum I ever saw. ;-)

In which mode runs your SATA-Controller?
Have you already installed the RAID-Array?

Eventually you have success by creating a Windows XP CD with the RAID driver integrated. nLite is the tool of choice.

secret_3des is right. Have you created a RAID array within your BIOS ?
As secret_3des said, i would give it a shot with nLite.
Can't do any harm, can it ?

regards

Yes of course i created an array in the Bios :

2* 150 Go raptor

I it really necessary to create a CD with raid driver integrated ? as the F6 hit at the beginning of the XP install is the solution to "integrate" unknown controller ?

Simple Start: How are the drives Connected to you MB, I mean physically? Which connectors are used? Photo shot possible?
Are they set to bootable in the Raid menu? Photo shot of raid menu?

No no CD is needed, the F6 method must work, there is something other going the wrong way.

By the way: Welcome here at CB
