Scroll Problem: IntelliPoint

Hallihallo,
ich habe seit kurzer Zeit Windows 7. Und zwar besteht das Problem, dass wenn ich runter scrolle der Computer erst einmal kurz nach oben scrollt und dann erst runter, das war bei Windows XP nicht so. Die Treiber sind Installiert, es handelt sich um die Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000, Treiber wird auch im Geräte-Manager angezeigt. Was kann man da tun? :/

Hi, ich habe auch eine Intellipoint X8. Die Treiber von Microsoft sind totaler Mist. Da macht die Maus was sie will. Deinstalliere mal den Intellipoint 8 Treiber und nehme einfach den Windows 7 Standardtreiber, dann müßte es klappen. Wenn nicht auch gut. lol

Naja, eigentlich wollte ich den behalten weil sich da Sachen auf die Makro Tasten installieren lassen, so habe ich z.B. das "Automatische LogIn" bei ComputerBase mit der linken Taste verknüpft und muss nur auf die Taste drücken um mich ein zu loggen. :/

I've got the same problem with Intellipoint and scrolling. And as you search the internet, almost everybody complains about the scrolling feature. After an hour of reading through many discussions I've stumbled upon a little tool called X-Mouse Button Control: http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMouseButtonControl.htm

It has almost the same mouse settings like Intellipoint but a few advantages:

- the scroll function works much better!

- if you don't like the way the mouse scrolls in one of your applications you can set special scroll settings for as many applications as you want.

- it works with every mouse connected to your computer and not just microsoft mice.

- there is a special setting called "make scroll wheel scroll window under cursor" - very useful!

- it is free (as Intellipoint is)



Microsoft's Intellipoint developers should follow the example! There is a guy out there called Phil which does a much better job then you guys at microsoft.
