Sektorgröße Hyper-V

Nachdem ich jetzt das Problem gelöst habe:

folgt das nächste mit Hyper-V

Beim Start der Maschinen erfolgt die Fehlermeldung:


Liegt es an der Emulation des USB Gehäuses oder an der 4K von der HDD. Eingeteilt habe ich sie unter Windows in 64kb sektoren, was auf der alten Platte auch schon war.

Es gibt keine 64kB Sektoren. 512Bytes oder 4096 Bytes.
64kB wären Cluster, aber ich sehe nichts in der Fehlermeldung davon.

Die Emulation von 4K des USB-Gehäuses ist die Ursache:

The VHD driver today assumes that the size of the physical sector of the disk is 512 bytes and issues 512-bytes IOs. This makes the VHD driver incompatible with these disks. Therefore, the VHD stack does not open the VHD files on physical 4 KB sector disks.

Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2 support 4K drives. However, you cannot use native 4 KB disks together with Hyper-V in Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
