Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate Installation

Hallo!

Ich hab mir von meiner UNI MSDNAA Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate geladen und wollte das installieren. Die ersten fünf Zusätze gingen, nur als er das Hauptprogramm installieren möchte, bricht er ab und meldet es ginge nicht.

Wäre nett, wenn ihr mir da helfen könntet.

Hm Ultimate? Dachte alle Studenten kriegen nur die Professionals wie wir von MSDNAA Egal, hattest du zufällig vorher Version 2008 drauf?

Nein, das OS ist ganz frischt, quasi. Hatte erst vorhin ein Image von der Neuinstallation im Februar drauf gemacht.

Ich lade es nochmal von der MSDN AA runter.

Studenten bekommen oft über MSDN AA die Programme früher. Ich habe Windows 7 auch früher gehabt, als die "Normalos".^^

Das Framework wird vorher installiert. Ich habe es jetzt nochmal geladen. Eigenartig ist, dass in dem Downloadmanager 4 GB steht und am Ende es nur 2,5 GB auf der Festplatte sind.

Es scheint jetzt zu gehen, er installiert weiter.

Zum Testen gibt es gratis Testversionen, die 90 Tage lauffähig sind.

Das ist, glaub' ich, bei jeder MSDNAA-Software so, die mit dem Downloadmanager runtergeladen wird. Es könnte sein, dass der DLM die Downloadgröße plus die Installationsgröße rechnet.

Nein. Es wird in der Regel eine verschlüsselte Containerdatei ".sdc" (oder so ähnlich) heruntergeladen. Im Anschluss wird diese zu einem Iso oder einem Installationsfolder entschlüsselt. Daher die knapp doppelte Größenordnung


Schade, mein MSDNAA Account geht nicht mehr, seit ich auf "Alumni" umgestellt wurde. Ein paar Win7 Lizenzen habe ich noch, genau wie Vista und XP - aber eigentlich dürfte ich sie nicht mehr installieren oder bei laufenden (=1 x win7) keine Updates mehr installieren. (sollte wohl Windowsupdates deaktivieren, um nicht gegen die Lizenzbedingungen zu verstoßen!)

Dann ist es im DLM falsch übersetzt worden. Da steht was von Installationsgröße (Kann mich auch irren, ist schon 'n Jahr her, dass ich die Dinger benutzt hab).
