Zalman ZM-MFC3 fan controller modification. Fan controller doesn't support LCD brightness change, it is very bright in the night. So I have created a little circuit which adds this feature. Brightness regulator is "integrated" with standard menu system, uses standard knob (no additional controls or tricky mechanical mods) and has auto store function - it doesn't loose brigtness level setting when powered off. It also handles menu enter and exit events so it doesn't influence any of standard fan controller functions (it overrides knob functions only when the user isn't in the menu - btw I can't imagine why the manufacturer didn't take the advantage of this and implement brightness control). If you want firmware send me a message and I will send you firmware (incl. source code). This is completely open source project! But please write only if you have some skills in electrotechnic and microcontroller programming because you will need programmer and create regulator circuit yourself. I can only offer firmware for the regulator CPU.
