Benötige Vorschläge mit BIOS update

Hey, habe ein MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Mainboard und einen AMD Ryzen 3700x. Mir wurde gesagt das ich mein BIOS updaten muss damit der Pc booted. Habe die richtige BIOS version auf einem Stick, frage mich aber wie ich das update starten soll wenn ich kein Bild habe (da CPU nicht erkannt wird) ich also nicht ins BIOS komme

mit einer cpu die das board schon kennt das ist ja der witz :-)
amd hat da einen verleihservice, oder nen kumpel fragen :-) händler machen sowas auch für 15€

MSI Boards bieten doch meistens Flashback ohne CPU ?! Wie das Funktioniert steht im Handbuch deines Boards! Steht da nix, fehlt die Funktion wohl und ohne passende CPU kein BIOS Flash möglich.

Über USB flashback. Wie das geht kannst du dem Handbuch deines Mainboards entnehmen.

Ok, ja davon steht was im Handbuch, bei "Aktualisierung des BIOS mit dem M-Flash Programm" steht aber auch das ich ins BIOS muss, oder verstehe ich den Text dort falsch?

Zunächst formatierst du dir einen leeren Stick in FAT32, dann lädst du dort das aktuellste BIOS drauf und nennst es in "msi.rom" um (bitte ohne Anführungszeichen).
Anschließend steckst du es in den entsprechenden Port am PC (meist ganz oben links) und drückst den danebenliegenden BIOS-Flashback-Knopf.
Ansonsten kannst du auch aus dem BIOS heraus flashen, allerdings wirst du dort wohl raum reinkommen.

Ansonsten im oben geposteten Handbuch auf Seite 30. Geht doch wirklich easy.

Habe ich erst gestern selber gemacht, entpackt vorher das Archiv und darin benennst du die Biosdatei um. Die müsste so heißen "E7B85AMS.180". Der 24Pin Anschluss vom Mainboard + 8Pin vom CPU müssen mit Strom versorgt werden. Dann USB-Stick in den unteren USB 2.0 Port(wenn das Mainboard vor dir liegt). Ist auch auf dem IO-Shield rot makiert. Den Flashback-Knopf daneben drücken und warten bis die rote LED nicht mehr leuchtet.

Sobald du den Knopf betätigt hast, fängt es dann an zu blinken. Wenn das bli Ken aufhört ist es fertig. Dauert etwa 3-4 Minuten

Ein neues BIOS holt man sich auf der Hersteller-Webseite und nicht irgendwo im Netz. Also entweder hier:

Before updating:
Please download the latest BIOS file that matches your motherboard model from MSI®
website and rename the BIOS file to MSI.ROM. And then, save the MSI.ROM file to the
root of USB flash drive.
Important
Only the FAT32 format USB flash drive supports updating BIOS by Flash BIOS Button.
1. Connect power supply to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1. (No other components are
necessary but power supply.)
2. Plug the USB flash drive that contains the MSI.ROM file into the Flash BIOS Button
port on rear I/O panel.
3. Press the Flash BIOS Button to flash BIOS, and the LED next to the button starts
flashing.
4. After the flashing BIOS process is 100% completed, the LED would be off
simultaneously.
