Gothic II unter Win 8.1 installieren scheitert

Hallo liebe CBler,

ich habe mal wieder den Klassiker G2NDR ausgegraben und mich riesig auf den ein oder anderen Dialog gefreut. Zu meiner Enttäuschung quittiert mir der Installer schon bei der ersten CD mit

OS ist Windows 8.1 Pro

Virenscanner Antivir findet nix, Spybot ebensowenig

Installer vom Medium auf SSD kopieren funktioniert auch nicht ...
Kompatibilität Windows 7/Windows XP auch nicht ...
Als Admin ausführen auch nicht ...
Die Methode von "worldofgothic" mit SpHjfix.exe+CWShredder geht leider mangels Verfügbarkeit beider Programme leider auch nicht ...


Verwendet am Sony (siehe Signatur) mit Externem Bluray-Brenner Samsung SE-506 BB.

Alternativ kann ich nur die gog.com Version empfehlen (http://www.gog.com/game/gothic_2_gold_edition), Installieren und spielen!

@Prollpower: Die Suche nach Browser-Hijack brachte mir ein Scan-Tool von Symantec, welches mir die Anwendungen vom X3 Terran Conflict und MassEffect als bedrohlich markierte. Beides sind die orginalen EXE, keine Cracks oder dergleichen.

Bei einem Hijack sollte diese "Bedrohung" doch aus dem Log entnehmbar sein, leider kann ich mit dem Hijack-This-Log nur wenig anfangen.

@pcblizzard: Warum sollte ich eine neue Version kaufen, wenn ich das Spiel bereits besitze? Aus Faulheit mich einem Problem zu stellen oder um Hilfe zu fragen?

@Baerchen60: Der Windows 7-Workaround über die Benutzerkontensteuerung/Datenausführungsverhinderung sowie Kompatibilitätsmodus wirft mir o.g. Fehler weiterhin aus.

Es war halt nur ein Vorschlag meinerseits und ~7 Euro wären jetzt nicht viel (zumal ich selbst auch spiele teilweise 2 und 3 fach besitze, schon alleine um die Plattform gog.com und deren kopierschutzfreien Spiele zu unterstützen - der ja bei der Retail Version das nächste Problem, unter Windows 7 / 8 darstellen könnte) aber nun gut...

Ganz Unrecht hast du da natürlich nicht und ich werde es in Betracht ziehen, sollte sich keine Lösung für mein bestehendes Problem finden lassen.

Wenn das nicht funktioniert: kopiere alle CD's auf die Festplatte und installiere das Spiel von der Festplatte aus.

Die Installation via Script hat bestens funktioniert. Anzumerken sei, dass nur G2 Probleme macht, das G2NDR-Addon konnte ich dann ohne Probleme von CD installieren.
