GTX460 -> nouveau -> Gnome3 -> Problem

Hi,
nach meinem Notebook bin ich nun dabei auch meinen Desktop auf Arch Linux umzustellen.
Ich hab dabei nur ein Problem und zwar startet die Gnome Shell nur im Fallbackmodus.
Also kurz zusammengefasst

1. Graka: GTX460
2. Treiber: nouveau
3. Die Pakete <nouveau-dri, mesa, libgl> sind installiert

Der OpenGl Vendor String verwirrt mich hier ein wenig

Weis jemand wieso der nur in den Fallbackmodus geht?

Was meinst du mit Fallbackmodus? Startet dein XServer nicht? Wenn ja, dann poste doch mein dein /var/log/Xorg.log.

Ansonsten sieht das eigentlich ganz ok aus...

Ich persönlich rate ja immer noch zum nichtfreien nvidia Treiber...,

Das mit dem OpenGl Vendor String ist übrigens ok. VMWare ist wohl so nett und entwickelt das freie Gallium3D, was wiederum vom nouevau Treiber benutzt wird.

Der xserver startet wie er soll.
Gnome3 startet halt nur im Fallback Modus. Er startet also nicht die Gnome Shell welche ja 3D benötigt, sondern eine Alternative Oberfläche welche auch auf 2D karten läuft und der Oberfläche von Gnome 2 ähnelt(siehe Anhang).
Im Wiki von Arch Linux steht halt das man, um die Gnome Shell nutzen zu können, zusätzlich zum nouveau Treiber noch nouveau-dri installieren muss, was ich ja getan habe...

Achja, welche log von Xorg willste haben? Bei Arch gibt es die von Xorg.0.org bis Xorg.5.org...

Xorg.0.log ist immer die neuste, danach wird durchnummeriert. Spricht was dagegen, den proprietären nvidia Treiber zu installieren?
Ich hab auch mal grade noch in das ubuntuusers wiki geschaut. Sieht so aus, als wäre 3D mit nouveau zumindest in Ubuntu noch deaktiviert. Keine Ahnung wie das bei Arch ist...

Hatte unter Arch mit Nouveau Compiz am Laufen, also dürfte Gnome-Shell auch laufen. Fragt sich bloß, ob Gnome3 da der gleichen Meinung ist
