Incomplete download of emails

I hope, I am at the right place to ask this. i use Outlook to access my emails and backup them. Yesterday, i tried importing the backu files to realise that the email attachments were missing from the backup file. I remember, at the time of exporting, the attachments were there. Why this kind of behaviour. I can not rely on this backup anymore.

Sounds like you told Outlook not to back-up mails including attachments. Do you use Outlook’s internal backup method? Which version of Outlook are you running? Do you have your backup in a .pst file?
