Dear Computer base users,
I would like you present our idea for mini-itx case which came after long search of smallest possible mini-itx case with ability to use high end hardware end powerful watercooling loop.
We have made final changes --- project moved to SFX psu only and this allows to mount 60 mm thick side radiator(3x120mm)
Currently awaiting final prototype from manufacturer. The main goal is to manufacturer such case locally in Europe(Poland to be specific)
IF anyone will be interested we will start crowdfunding project.

Past Prototype build(atx psu format)
OVERDOSE Case details:
Case size is as follows:
Length:415 mm
Width:258 mm
Height: 221 mm plus feet
RADIATORS:
Side radiator (3x120mm)maximum dimensions:
Length : 415mm
Width: 135 mm
Thickness: 60 mm
It does fit such units as EKWB PREDATOR
Rear radiator (1x120mm) maximum dimensions:
Length: 160mm
Width: 134mm
Thickness : depends on cpu socket location
Easy access to pump/res location and installations as brackets are removable.
For the Horizontal bracket:
Maximum height is 189mm or 208 mm(bracket mounted upside down)
Pre-drill holes for Laing DDC mounting - internal and externall ones
Pre-drill holes for DDC pumps with heatsing housing - 50mm spacing
It does fit all the Laing DDC pump variants, as well as heatsing options.
In terms of height it does fit such units as:
Aquacomputer aqualis DDC 150 ml
Aquacomputer aqualis DDC 100 ml
Alphacool Laing DDC310 - Complete Edition Eisdecke
EK-XRES 140 DDC
EK-XRES 100 DDC
VERTICAL BRACKET:
Pre-drill holes for Aquacomputer aqualis D5 100ml
Pre-drill holes for EKWB EK-XRES D5 pump/res combo
Maximum height is 214 mm
BOTTOM OF THE CASE:
Pre-drill holes for Alphacool Eisdecke mounting bracket for DDC and D5 pump/top systems with Alphacool Eisdecke DDC/D5 single reservoir for Alphacool
SFX POWER SUPPLY:
total height space is 189 mm
recommended length will be 150mm to have space for connectors and cables.
GRAPHICS CARD:
Maximum length 302mm:
STORAGE CAPABILITIES:
Window bracket:
one HDD drive and two SSD drives
Bottom of the case:
Two SSD drives
Background story:
As computer enthusiast and falling in love with watercooling have started to find best possible mini-itx solution with excellent watercooling posibilities.
For more than a year we where trying to find the way to fit 360 radiator into smallest possible case with mini-itx board.
First trying scratch build of vertical setup:
Than the Radiator and pump:
But in the setup above there was almost no space for tubing and cabling
and the was more than 30 cm high....
Than we have tried scratch building horizontal case:
This was really close to what we wanted but with no space for radiator mountings and tight on hdd drive as well as very short psu. This setup was 40 cm long and to get 360 radiator. Two needed to be used one 120 on the rear and 240 on the side.
We have decide to extended case a bit and move PSU to vertical position and have 360 rad on the whole side of the case.
It came up like this:
Pictures of atx prototype, now have switched to SFX
Now two setup of radiators are possible, either 360 rad on the side or two radiators - one 120 rad on the rear and second 240 on the side.
What dou you guys think of such watercooling dedicated case with clear panel window ?
