SUSE 10.1 mit ATI X800XL Grafikkarte

Hallo,

ich bekomms einfach nicht hin, die 3D Funktion (acceleration)
für diese Grafikkarte zu realisieren.

Ich bin ja schon froh das ich es endlich geschafft hab, den von ATI bereitgestellten
Treiber zu installieren.

Hat einer eine Idee wie ich dies hinbekommen könnte (MESA usw.)

Wie hast du den Treiber installiert?

Wenn du ihn erfolgreich installiert hast, musst du in der xorg.conf "radeon" "vesa" oder was auch immer da steht durch "fglrx" ersetzen.

mit dem fglrx müsste ich mal nachgucken...

Nach der Installation

# init 3

# aticonfig|less

<-- nachlesen, was man alles einstellen kann

# aticonfig --initial <evtl. andere Parameter>

Und mal in der /usr/share/fglrx/fglrx-install.lo gucken, obs irgendwelche Fehler gab...
Alternativ und einfacher gehts mit

$ fglrxinfo

3D will nicht: SUSE 10.1 mit ATI X800XL Grafikkarte

Treiber schön installiert, aber 3D Funktionen gehen nicht...z.B.
alle OpenGL (MESA) Bildschirmschoner sind sehr sehr langsam....

Habt ihr eine Idee was da falsch sein könnte ???
Irgendwas kann mich dem fglrx nicht stimmen...
