Unuseable RAM (Kinston) DDR1?

Hallo Leute,

habe ein Asus A8V-E SE mit neustem Bios.

Ich habe 4x1 Gig Kingston HpyerX 3200. Egel welchen Riegel ich rein mache, er zeigt mir im Bios und Windows immer nur die Hälfte an!

Wenn ich also 1024 rein mache habe ich nur 512.

Mach ich 2 Gig rein habe ich nur 1024.

Im Bios steht dann, bei z.B. einem 1024er Riegel:

Useable 512
Unuseable 512

Wenn ich eine andere Marke rein mache, z.B. Corsair, funktioniert alles einwandfrei!

Das Handbuch gibt aufschluß

"Due to chipset limitation, DIMM modules with 128 Mb memory chip or double sided x16 memory chips are not supported in this motherboard."

Dein Speicher: Kingston's KHX3200K2/2G is a kit of two 128M x 64-bit 1GB (1024MB) DDR400 CL2.5 SDRAM
(Synchronous DRAM) memory modules.
