Some quick gamplay of boekabart's widescreen mod for Age of Empires II Conquerers at 1080p, allows resoultions of 1920x1080 and higher. Age of Empires looks incredible at this resolution on my 1920x1080 monitor it works with multi player and 1.0, 1.0c and 1.0e patches are all supported. Youtube's video quality does not do the video or the mod justice
How It Works: It changes the effective resolution of the 1280x1024 (or 1024x768, 800x600) choice to your desktop resolutions (but other options are possible), by changing some of the occurrences of 1280, 1024 and related numbers inside the binary.
It also changes all interface graphics to the right resolution by duplicating some lines and repeating the rightmost pixels.
It writes a new exe and a new version of interfac.drs, both with a different name. The patched exe refers to this new interfac.drs, not to the original one. You can't lose anything.

Bisher hatte ich das auch mit dem AoE2Wide gemacht.
Aber ich dachte mit der "Forgotten Empires" Erweiterung braucht es das nicht mehr.
Ich habe diese Auflösungen gefunden
800 x 600
1024 x 768
1152 x 864
1280 x 960
1280 x 1024
1400 x 1050
1600 x 1200
1920 x 1440
aber überraschenderweise nicht 1920 x 1080 (eine Auflösung, die vermutlich auf Desktop-Monitoren häufig vorkommt).
