Desktop-Firewall für XP

Kennt jemand eine Sichere und gut funktionierende Desktop-Firewall für Win XP ?

Die Norton 2002 (Personal, Family Edition und Pro) läßt erstmal alles durch, ist also untauglich, die FW sollte ungefähr so funktionieren wie die Norton 2001 (die aber leider nicht läuft (auch im Kompatiblitäts-Modus nicht))

fürher hätte ich die Tiny Personal Firewall (TPF) empfohlen da diese aber nicht weiter entwickelt wird bzw. das ganze von Kerio übernommen wurde plädiere ich für die KPF also die Kerio Personal Firewall.

Gibts nich auch was Brauchbares auf Deutsch? Mein Schulenglisch ist doch schon etwas verstaubt und ich würde schon gerne, zumindest etwas, verstehen was die FW da macht!

Meines Wißens nach sind die meisten Firewalls nur auf Englisch erhältlich. Auch "Firewalls" wie Zonealarm
Wenn du wirklich was deutsches haben willst dann führt wohl kein Weg am Ressourcen fresser Norton vorbei.

Outpost ist eine super Desktop Firewall. Auch mit deutschem Sprachpaket.

Ich empfehle die Tiny Personal Firewall, ist zwar Englisch
dafür Freeware und man kann das Ding konfigurieren bis
zum Abwinken.
