Für alle die wollen
Sorry Mods, hatte keine Idee für'n Richtigen Namen.
Tachschen Leutz, BITTE ERST MEIN LETZTEN POST LESEN!!!
Windows XP geht davon aus, dass die CPU mit 256 kByte Level2-Cache rechnet. Neuere CPU?s wie der BARTON- und der NORTHWOODCHIPKERN rechnen allerdings mit 512 kByte Level2-Cache, das kann man im BIOS ändern, dadurch gewinnt man ein Wenig Performance. Da ich nett bin, und sich wohl nich alle trauen sich das zu versuchen, habe ich eine Registry erstellt, die sorgt außerdem dafür, dass Windows XP schneller abschaltet.
Für Welche die es selber machen wollen, oder es trennen wollen, geb ich die Werte an:
Fast Shutdown,
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control]
"WaitToKillServiceTimeout"="1"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"AutoEndTasks"="1"
512 kByte L2-Cache (NUR Barton- und Northwoodchipkern),
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
"SecondLevelDataCache"=dword:00000200
256 kByte L2-Cache
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
"SecondLevelDataCache"=dword:00000100
Fertig sieht's so aus,
Für 512 kb L2-Cache,
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control]
"WaitToKillServiceTimeout"="1"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"AutoEndTasks"="1"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
"SecondLevelDataCache"=dword:00000200
Für 256 kb L2-Cache
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control]
"WaitToKillServiceTimeout"="1"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
