Intels Enhanced Memory 64 Technology (EM64T) wird um die beiden 64-Bit Befehle LAHF und SAHF erweitert und somit vollständig AMD64 kompatibel. Diese neue Revision des P4-Cores hört auf den Namen G-1.

* Updated BIOS is required
* Desktop G-1 Step processors will be Pb-Free Second Level Interconnect (SLI) / RoHS compliant and the integrated heat spreader (IHS) will be marked per JESD97 guidelines with e4 designation
* Addition of 2 new EM64T instructions LAHF/SAHF
* G-1 is pin compatible with E-0. The thermal/mechanical specification is within overall package height specification
