hab den fehler gefunden
der hat immer nach der webcam gesucht hab die abgeklemmt und dann ging das auch nachn neustart
aber wie stelle ich jetz die 5.1 boxen ein hab im bios gesucht aber weiß auch nicht weiter
ist eine onboard sound von asus p4c800 e-deluxe

Ich hab auch nochmal eine Frage zu den Soundtreibern:
Ich hab mir von der NVIDIA Seite die aktuellen NForce Linux Treiber runtergeladen und installiert. Das hat auch alles wunderbar funktioniert, jedoch bekomme ich jetzt keinen Sound mehr. Wenn KDE hochfährt, bekomme ich die Meldung, das die Sound Treiber nicht geladen werden können und somit der null ausgang benutzt wird.
Das lustige ist jedoch: Ich war eben mal auf www.derbauer.de und da hatte ich Sound! Sonst bekomme ich aber keinen Ton aus der Kiste.
Was ist da falsch gelaufen?


EDIT: Ok auf der oben genannten Website hab ich jetzt plötzlich auch keinen Sound mehr

Ist das nvsound modul denn geladen? Wenn nicht, trag mal nvsound in /etc/modules.autoload/<kernel-version> ein (zumindest geht es so bei gentoo, bei debian hab ich ein modules.autoload nicht gefunden)

Also ich weiss nich ob es geladen ist, ich dachte es wird automatisch installiert und geladen, wie bei der Installation der VGA Treiber von Nvidia.
Ich bin mir aber nich sicher ob das Modul richtig installiert wurde, denn ein "insmod nvsound" hat ein "insmod: can't read 'nvsound': No such file or directory" zur folge

Zum laden hätte ich auch eher modprobe verwendet, kann mich aber auch irren. Anzeigen lassen welche module geladen sind: lsmod

Ok, mit modprobe konnte ich das Modul laden. Aber wie bekomm ich das System jetzt dazu, das Modul gleich beim starten zu laden? Warscheinlich einen Eintrag in die modules.conf, aber welchen und wo?
Was mir auch noch aufgefallen ist, daß ich z.B. mit VLC Sound habe aber mit Noatun nicht und beim Starten oder Beenden von KDE bekomm ich die Meldung:

Error while initializing the sound driver:
device: default can't be opened for playback (No such file or directory)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.

egal ob das Modul NVsound geladen ist oder nicht :-/

Das Sounddevice wird wohl nur beim Hochfahren (starten von udev/devfs oder was auch immer) angelegt. Mein System sagt dann immer so schön: "Populating /dev". Sprich der Treiber muss schon davor geladen sein.
Und wie ich oben bereits erwähnte (lesenden Menschen kann geholfen werden ) trägt man das modul einfach in die /etc/modules.autoload/<kernel-version> ein. Zumindest bei meinem Gentoo.

Das hab ich schon gelesen. Aber wenn Du richtig gelesen hättest, wüsstest Du, daß ich kein Gentoo System habe, sondern ein Ubuntu System mit KDE 3.5, und Ubuntu basiert auf...richtig...Debian wo es ja nach Deinem eigenen Bekunden kein modules.autoload Verzeichnis gibt.
Das ist ja nun mein Problem.

PS: Vielen Dank übrigens für Dein Wine/Cedega Howto. Ist wirklich gut gemacht und selbst ich hab damit beides installiert bekommen. Nur z.B. Counterstrike stürzt beim Spalsh-Screen ab. Steam aber läuft.

Ich hab einfach im KDE Kontrollcenter das Audiosystem auf OSS umgestellt. Wenn ich Alsa oder anderes benutze, meldet sich immer aRts mit obiger Meldung. Jetzt ist Ruhe im Karton. :->
