Probleme mit G110

Hey,

ich habe ein ernstes Problem mit meiner Tastatur. Aber am besten fange ich mal vorne an:

Also ich hatte mir die G110 gekauft, weil ich sie für eine solide Gamingtastatur halte.

Am Anfang war auch alles in Ordnung. Später dann fing sie an "rumzuspinnen". Vor dem spielen funktioniert sie eigentlich einwandfrei. Doch nachdem ich ein Spiel starte (z.B Bad Company 2 oder Blur) fängt sie an zu hacken, zu spät zu reagieren oder hält eine Taste immer lange gedrückt, sodass ich z.B immer weiter grade aus laufen anstatt mich hinter der Kiste zu ducken, so wie ich das eigentlich wollte.

Sehr ärgerlich. Es trägt nicht grade zum spielespass bei.
Wenn ich dann zum Windoof zurückkehre hakt sie meistens auch nocheinmal kurz und danach funktioniert sie wieder einwandfrei.

Wie gesagt, sie hat vorher eigentlich richtig gut funktioniert, habe schon einmal eine ausgetauscht, weil ich da das gleiche Problem hatte und ich von einen Hardware Fehler ausging. Aber jetzt nach ca. 2-3 wochen Betrieb hab ich das gleiche Promlem mit der zweiten Tastatur auch.

Kann das evtl. daran liegen, dass die Tastatur momentan höheren Temperaturen ausgesetzt ist? In meinem Zimmer kann es recht warm werden, aber das sollte doch jeder Tastatur aushalten können oder?

Ich würd ma treiber ausprobieren. Vielleicht geht da was.

hi habe das gleiche Problem hast du nen fehler gefunden . Spiele auch bf2 und aion in beiden habe ich die fehler . treiber aktuell . lga 775 q9550 asus gene 2 adata 8 gb 1066 gtx 260 von zotac .

Hallo,

ich habe leider keine Lösung für das Problem parat. Nach meiner dritten G110 hatte ich es endgültig satt. Habe jetzt die DiNovo Edge erworben. Prima Tastatur, keine Probleme (leider) allerdings auch um einiges teurer.

So, hab was gefunden.
Eventuell betrifft dich das auch, anscheinend trifft das Problem bei Windows 7, and x58/790i motherboards,crossfire, USB-Hubs auf. Aber aus der Unterhaltung im Forum scheint es eher ein Problem mit den USB-Ports zu geben.



Hier ein Sticky auf dem Logitech-Forum G19, Windows 7, and x58/790i motherboards: Official thread wird das angesprochen, allerdings geht es dort um die G19. Dürfte aber egal sein, da Leute auch mit der G110 diese Probleme haben.

Im Eingangpost werden auch Lösungsforschläge gemacht.
Allerdings scheinen diese das Problem nicht immer zu lösen wenn man sich mal durch die 18 Seiten quer ließt.

Solutions we've found: We have found several solutions that, according to user reports, resolved the problem on these motherboards



* Disable EHCI Handoff: EHCI Handoff is [ENABLED] as a default in most motherboards, and should be [DISABLED] if you are using Windows XP SP2 or greater. Most people do not disable this setting, and in our testing and from customer reports, disabling this option seems to resolve the issue on many motherboards. If you have questions about disabling this feature on your motherboard, please contact your motherboard manufacturer for the BIOS options.

* Update your BIOS and look for driver/windows updates:We are aware that some motherboard manifactuers have released BIOS updates that resolve some motherboard issues with the G19. We've also become aware of Windows updates that will resolve the USB 2.0 communication issues that cause the G19 to have poor performance. Also check for any sort of motherboard or controller chip updates.

* Use a non-EHCI compliant PCI-e USB card, and plug the G19 into that: If a USB PCI-e card is "non-EHCI compliant", it means it uses its own drivers, and not the system drivers, to handle the USB communication. This has been reported to us and verified in house as a potential solution for motherboards that cannot disable EHCI handoff.

* Try spacing out or relocating USB plugs to different ports: Users have reported that plugging the G19 into a different set of USB ports, like front or top ports, OR relocating other devices to the front or top ports, has resolved USB reset issues.

* Relocate mobile phones and devices that emit radio signals away from the G19's screen: A distance of 15"/45cm from the screen has prevented issues with some motherboards.

* Reducing radical overclocks: Some users have reported success with their USB communications by lowering their overclock amount. Just like adjusting memory latency to adjust for optimum performance on memory chips, lowering overclocks for some users have resulted in systems with more stable USB communications.

* Disabling SLi or Crossfire: Not ideal for some people, but has fully resolved the problem for some users.

Weiß vielleicht jemand von Euch genaueres ?




Auf Seite 13 beschreibt jemand ein Problem mit der G110 wie der Themenersteller.
Im Spiel macht die Tastatur Probleme. Zurück im Widnwos sind die Probleme weg.

Here it what happened :

Boot sequence : no problems

Windows use (office work / internet) : no problems

Gaming : Here it happened ... First, all is good, work as wanted ! Great. But after something like 5 or 10 minutes, keyboard backlight start to blinking, and during these blinking, keyboard stop to respond (if a key was used, it stay until backlight return) This blinking continue for a couple of minutes and after start to working correctly again. After 5 or 10 minutes, it's hapens again ... You can repeat this routine for the rest of the game session (except sometimes, I can have something like 15 or 20 minutes of free times before a serial of blinkink start again ...)

When I stop the game session, return to windows, keyboard instantly works good again !

Angesprochen wird auch, dass das Problem bei der G510 nicht auftritt.
Daher wird gesagt/angenommen, dass es am integrierten USB-Port der Tastatur selbst liegt, der gewisse Probleme mitsich bringt.

yes, there is a problem with the G19 (and the G110) caused by the integration of a USB 2.0 hub. no, it's not caused by software (or fixable by software) and it's not something that Logitech can fix. which explains why the G510 has no hub, and why it can use the exact same drivers as the G19 without issue.

Vielleicht auf bei allen anderen Problemen mit diesen Tastaturen ?

Der erste Ansatz, das deaktivieren des EHCI Handoffs, führt das nicht zu einem Problem mit der USB 2.0 Funtktionalität?

Wo liegt das Problem eigentlich genau? Ist das eine Unsauberkeit seitens Logitech beim USB-Controller in der Tastatur? Oder was wird hier von wem missachtet?
