Soundkarte umstecken auf anderen PCI-E Slot kompatible?

Im moment habe ich die Soundkarte über meiner Grafikkarte installiert.

Ich wollte ich mir aber ne neue Grafikkarte GTX 1080 EVGA SC mit der Backplate holen und hab mir gedacht das sich dann die Hitze zwischen den beiden Geräten staucht.

Kann ich die Soundkarte auch auf den untersten Mainboard slot draufsetzen? Der PCI-E Anschluss meiner Soundkarte ist ja nur 2-3 cm lang... aber der letzte Anschluss wäre halt für Grafikkarten gedacht, daher meine frage...

1. Kompatible?
2. Bekomm ich leistungs probleme? Geht bei der benutzung des untersten PCI-E slots PCI-E x16 von der Grafikkarte runter?

schau was im handbuch steht, manche pci-e slots sind mechanisch verbunden und dulden nur zwei gpu oder die geschw. wird zurückgestuft.

PCIE ist abwärtskompatibel. Die Soundkarte läuft in jedem Slot, in den sie mechanisch passt.

Übersetzt bedeutet das:
Sollte der Grafikkarte nix wegnehmen, da diese im ersten 16er Slot sitzt und der nicht mit dem dritten 16er Slot verbunden ist
Und passen tut sie sowieso. Sieht zwar komisch aus, wenn man sone 1er Karte in nen 16er Steckplatz packt, aber passt .
