Was ist Hyper Drive?

Hallo!

Ich hab gerade meinen ASUS SmartDoctor auf Version4.6 gebracht und bin über den Menüpunkt Hyper Drive gestossen.

Was ist das? Einfach so was wie Overdrive?

Und da gibts noch versch. Modi:

3D Game Mode
CPU Usage Mode
Temperatur Mode

d.h. also bei nem 3D Game, bei einer bestimmten CPU Auslastung und bei einer bestimmten temperatur taktet er hoch?

Um wieviel Mhz geht er denn da höher?

Finde aber auch nirgends was um wieviel sie höher getaktet wird...

Hier ein Auszug aus dem Handbuch:

"The Smart Doctor Utility monitors the VGA card conditions and significantly cool down the VGA Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). This Utility also allows you to adjust the graphics card clock settings"

ASUS HyperDrive ermöglicht das dynamische Boosten der Grafikkarte auf 3 verschiedenen Wegen

Hat wohl was mit den übertakten zu tun und ist wohl auch nur für die ATI Grafikkarten von Asus gedacht.

3D Game Mode: Recommended for game enthusiasts. In 3D Game mode, HyperDrive detects whether there are 3D applications running on the system and automatically increases the GPU core clock to provide smoother motions and better performance.

CPU Usage Mode: This mode adjusts the GPU speed according to the working load of the CPU. If HyperDrive finds the CPU loading high, it automatically increases the GPU speed to share the load, hence providing better system performance.
