Was ist Power-Burn ?

Was ist eigentlich dieses Power-Burn? Seit ich einen Sony-DVD-Brenner eingebaut habe, erscheint in meinem Nero die Frage ob ich Power-Brun beim Brennvorgang aktivieren möchte. Kann mir jemand kurz und knapp erklären was es damit auf sich hat?

wird wohl wie ne art von brennschutz sein, nur dass es wahrscheinlich bei sony einen anderen namen trägt.... vermute ich aber nur

Vieleicht brennt er dann schneller (oder doch langsamer=sicherer?)
was ja eher zur Power-Brun passen würde ?
