3x M.2 NVME auf X570

Hallo,

würde gerne meinen SSD Speicher aufrüsten und habe dazu eine neue PCIe 4.0 SSD gekauft.

Mainboard: X570 Phantom Gaming X
CPU: 5800X3D (Vermeer-X)

Mainboard Specs:
8 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s Connectors, support RAID (RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 10), NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug

• 1 x Hyper M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2242/2260/2280 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module and M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen4x4 (64 Gb/s) (with Vermeer, Matisse) or Gen3x4 (32 Gb/s) (with Cezanne, Renoir, Pinnacle Ridge and Picasso)*

Aktuell habe ich bereits 2 verbaut:

• Slot 1: Samsung 960 EVO 250GB NVME PCIe 3.0
• Slot 2: Corsair MP510 960GB NVME PCIe 3.0

Neue SSD: Kingston Fury Renegade 2TB NVME PCIe 4.0

Sollte eigentlich ohne Probleme in Slot 3 gehen? PCIE5 wird nicht genutzt.

der M2_2 ist mit https://geizhals.at/?cat=hdssd&xf=4832_3~4836_4 halt sehr kurz

M2_1 + M2_3 haben bekannte längen

Sollte eigentlich ohne Probleme in Slot 3 gehen? PCIE5 wird nicht genutzt.

PCIe Slot 5 wird deaktiviert, wenn eine M.2 SSD in M.2_3 gesteckt wird. Sofern Du sowieso den PCIe Slot nicht nutzt, hast Du keinen Nachteil.

Danke, von der Länge sind alle SSDs 2280, das ist ja auf jedem Slot spezifiziert.

Als PCIE wird nur der erste benutzt für die GPU.

Prinzipiell könnte man vielleicht auch eine Vierfachkarte wie die Asus Hyper M.2 kaufen, da muss man dann im BIOS die "Bifurcation" aktivieren, damit der Slot statt als PCIe x16 dann als x4x4x4x4 angesteuert wird.

Davon will ich eben gerade weg - habe hier noch eine Aorus Raid SSD 2TB (4x512GB) PCIe 3.0 x8 rumliegen.
Ist mit dem neuen Gehäuse (Hyte Y40) nicht mehr kompatibel und ist auch immer ein Kompromiss, dass sie entweder der GPU die Luft zum atmen nimmt oder im oberen Slot die GPU dann nur mit PCIe 4.0 x8 läuft.

Gestern eingebaut, aber die Leistung stimmt nicht - läuft auch nur mit 4.0 x2 - sollte aber laut Specs vom Mainboard nicht?

Hatte die SSDs aus Slot 2 und 3 nochmal getauscht.

Slot 2: Fury
Slot 3: MP510

Jetzt hatte die Fury nur noch 4.0 x1 also nochmal ausgebaut und Schrauben gut angezogen und siehe da 4.0 x4 und die Geschwindigkeit passt jetzt.
Schuld war also die Montage.
