[08-09-2016] PC Patch notes for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Patch build 545.4

The following fixes are in this patch:
  • Fixed a freeze that happened for some players during the subway loading scene.
  • Fix for issue where massive stalls would occur in Prague.
  • Fixed issue where players could no longer save when they ran out of Steam Cloud space. (When the player runs out of space, the oldest saves will now be removed from the Steam Cloud. They will NOT be deleted and are still available from disk. They will remain present in your in-game ‘load game’ list.
  • Improved shadow behaviour in the distance when Contact Hardening Shadows is turned on.
  • Fixed issue where tutorial messages could stay/re-appear on-screen after completing the tutorial.
  • Fixed an issue where players could lose input control when hacking certain computers.
  • Fixed various UI issues.

Release of DirectX 12 support in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided:

As of today, users are also able to utilize the awaited DirectX 12 Graphics API. To activate this you are required to do the following:
  • Within your Steam Library, right-click on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
  • Select ‘properties’ from the context menu and navigate to the Beta tab.
  • From the dropdown menu, select dx12_preview then close the window.

After the game has downloaded the DirectX 12 supported build you can then toggle DirectX 12 from either the launcher window or from the Display options within the game.
Note that DirectX 12 requires a restart of the game if (de-)activated from within a running Deus Ex: Mankind Divided game session.

o WARNING: Using the DirectX 12 API can offer better performance on some systems, however, it will not be beneficial on all.
o Multi-GPU is not yet supported in this patch.
o If you encounter problems with DirectX 12, we recommend turning it off again. There are no visual or gameplay differences between the two DirectX versions.
o As always, make sure that your drivers are up to date.

Known DirectX 12 issue:
  • There is a known bug that causes some very high end cards to regress relative to DirectX 11. This bug is being addressed by the development team.

Bisher ist das Spiel einmal abgestürzt als ich in die Shooting Range gehen wollte im TF29 Quartier. Während der Sequenz einfach Absturz.

Das Game war am Anfang eher so "meeeh" aber dann nach einer Stunde kam wieder dieses besondere Deus Ex Feeling auf. Genau so wie beim Ur-Deus-Ex und Deus Ex Human Revolution. Hier noch ein Hack, da nochmal suchen, die Side-Mission nochmal abschließen.. einfach genial.

Die Frage wird dir im gleichen Reddit-Thread beantwortet: Der DLC hat zwar Verbindungen zur Geschichte des Hauptspiels, ist aber eine eigenständige Geschichte ("Jensen Story"), ergo "frischer" Charakter.

The following fixes are in this patch:
  • Added support for the Jensen Story: System Rift DLC mission. Re-unite with Frank Pritchard, Adam’s friend and former colleague at Sarif Industries, and assist him in hunting down information on the mysterious Santeau Group. Desperate to get more information, Pritchard targets one of the most secure data banks ever created – the Palisade Blade. In agreeing to help, Adam may also be able to uncover hints as to who the Illuminati really are.
  • Added Lens Flare option.
  • Improvement of Tobii EyeTracking's cover at gaze: Better responsiveness. Separate the responsiveness setting from Extended View. Filter the gaze point harder to get better snapping.
  • Tobii EyeTracking's gun arm at gaze (new feature). When using Nanoblade, P.E.P.S or Tesla augmentations, the gun arm will aim in the direction of your gaze, quick shoot by releasing the trigger early or hold for continued aiming.
  • Fixed an issue where Extended view is enabled when shopping.
  • Fixed an issue where Extended view - Gun arm weapon reticles are moving.
  • Various crash and bug fixes.
  • UPDATE: Fixed issue with Tessellation and some cables in Prague.

Ich soll nun zu GARM fliegen, es kommt der Hinweis dass alle Sidequests vorher abgeschlossen werden sollten, weil später nciht mehr verfügbar.
Allerdings ist SM03 Geheimnisvolle Augmentierungen noch aktiv (in Bearbteitung), Koller hat die Augs gefunden, ich habe Sarif konfrontiert, die Wohnung des Wissenschaftlers durchsucht, den Safe mit dem Med Report geknackt... aber was nun?

Geht es automatisch später weiter oder muss/kann ich irgendwas machen?
 
SM03 ist eine mehrteilige Sidequest und wird auch nach dem Ausflug zu GARM weitergeführt.

We have just released another PC patch for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, v1.8 build 565.4_P8. This patch focusses on updating Breach content and features, fixes for a couple of critical issues raised by the community, and several updates for DX12.

This patch will be applied by Steam automatically when you next start the game. If your game does not update, please restart the Steam client.

The following fixes are in this patch - The patch adds new Breach content and features:

*Avatar customization (possibility to change the appearance of the Ripper in-game)

*Overworld Map

*New Santeau Corporation (New Maps and Darknet file)

*New UI for avatar customization

*New items: Premium Ripper Skins (2)

*New item: Premium weapon (1)

*Fixed an issue where some players would crash when loading their savegame.

*Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in the side mission: 1011000

DX12 specific changes (*only applicable to the DX12_preview branch)

*Fixed an issue that could cause a DXGI_DEVICE_HUNG error.

*Improved performance stability, this should result in less stuttering.

*Slightly improved loading times.

While we expect this patch to be an improvement for everyone, if you do have trouble with this patch and prefer to stay on older versions, we have made a Beta for build V1.7_551.7 available on Steam that can be used to switch back to previous versions.

We will keep monitoring for feedback and will release further patches as it seems required. We always welcome your feedback!
 
Hallo zusammen, ich habe eine Frage und zwar, wie kann man an den schwarz gelb gestreiften Stangen hoch klettern ?
 
Die müssen erst zu Leitern ausgeklappt werden. Das geht, wenn ein bestimmte Augmentation freigeschaltet ist. Die, mit der man Objekte aus der Entfernung hacken kann.
 
Ich habe mit meiner GTX 970 seit einiger Zeit kurze Lags für ein paar Sekunden. Es bricht dann von 60 FPS auf unter 30 weg. Wenn ich mich dann etwas bewege, springen die FPS wieder auf 60. Das kommt alle paar Minuten vor.

Es ist auch unabhängig vom Vram. 3,2 oder 3,5 oder 4GB Auslastung, völlig egal. Es tritt häufig draußen in Prag auf, war aber auch schon bei der ersten Mission innen (spiele es grad zum 2. Mal durch).

Hat jemand ähnliche Probleme oder gar eine Lösung?
 
Alles schon durch, ingame, über Treiber, ein, aus...

Ich habe jetzt im Treiber mal die pre-rendered Frames auf 1 gestellt und Höchstleistung eingestellt. Bislang läufts.
