Festplatte kaputt?

Meine Festplatte Maxtor 6V200E0 "knackt" ab und zu mal, läuft danach aber ruhig weiter. Ihre Temp liegt so bei 28 Grad. Das Knacken kommt total unregelmäßig, mal 2 Wochen nicht und dann 2 mal innerhalb 2-3 Stunden. Soll ich mir mir da jetzt sorgen machen, das die Ausfallen könnte?

NT habe ich mir so oder so schon ein Neues bestellt. Danke aber erstmal für deine schnellen Antworten.

Also ich habe jetzt das neue NT bekommen. Leider tratt der Fehler nach ca. 2 Tagen wieder auf. Da ich aber eine 2. Platte habe, habe ich dort erstmal mein Windows installiert, die andere Platte läuft einfach nur mit, ohne Daten zu haben. Habe dann mal HD Tune durchlaufen lassen. Das Programm zeigt mir aber keinen Fehler an. Was soll ich nun tuen? Soll ich die doch zurück geben oder reicht das nicht aus, weil das ja total unregelmäßig ist.

Dann teste sie doch einfach mal mit dem Tool vom Hersteller.

Das Tool namens "PowerMax" kann man irgendwie nicht runterladen. Bei Maxtor kommt bei mir immer die Meldung, dass das Programm nicht gefunden wurde. Andere Downloads verweisen leider immer auf die Herstellerseite.

Probier mal ultimatebootcd http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ dort ist powermax auch dabei, nur musst du das Image auf eine CD brennen und mit CD booten.

PowerMax wurde durch SeaTools abgelöst, da ja Seagate den Support übernommen hat.
Du benötigst dazu noch NetFramework 2.0 um es unter Windows laufen zu lassen.
