Installation schwarzer Bildschirm

Folgendes Problem:

Zunächst tat sich urplötzlich nach mehrwöchiger Windows 7 Nutzung folgendes Problem auf. Beim Hochfahren kam nach dem Willkommensbildschirm die Meldung "logon.exe systemfehler. Das Programm konnte nicht gestartet werden, da MSCTF.dll fehlt." Runterladen und einfügen der Datei per Notfall-CD half nicht. Also Daten per Notfall-CD gesichert.

Nachdem ich die Festplatte während der Windows 7 Installation formatiert hatte verlief die Installation wie gewohnt weiter, jedoch ungewöhnlich langsam. Nach Abschluss der Installation und Neustarten des Computers kommt einfach nur ein schwarzer Bildschirm - sonst nichts.
Ich habe noch 2 Mal versucht Windows 7 (unterschiedliche Versionen) zu installieren, leider mit dem selben Ergebnis. Außerdem dauerte jeder der Installationsschritte unglaublich lange (Setup wird geladen, bis zu 10 Minuten).

BIOS natürlich auch immer auf Default gesetzt.

Ich vermute, dass die Festplatte der Übeltäter ist. Was mich nur wundert ist, dass das Schreiben/Lesen so lange dauert und alles noch so halb funktioniert bzw halb nicht funktioniert, anstatt dass einfach gar nichts mehr geht.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Festplatte ähnlich wie das BIOS zu "resetten". Also so wie ich beim BIOS CMOS cleare z.B.?
 
Habe jetzt mal eine alte IDE Festplatte angeschlossen und siehe da, Windows installiert sich ohne Probleme.
 
Die Platte (und der PC) ist erst wenige Wochen alt. Was soll ich mit dem Testergebnis des Tools dann machen?
 
Ist für die problemlose Garantieabwicklung hilfreich. "Warranty and RMA Services"
Wenns ein komplettPC war, natürlich über den Händler.

PC ist von HM24, bestellt bei notebooksbilliger, FP ist von WD. Wo sollte ich sie am besten einschicken dann?
