Ist eine M.2 NVME SSD mit meinem Mainboard kompatibel?

Hi!

Ich nutze einen älteren Asrock Z170 Extreme4 zur Zeit mit einem Samsung SSD SM951 (AHCI) und frage mich, ob eine Silicon Power P34A80 (NVMe 1.3) kompatibel ist. Da das Mainboard doch etwas älter ist, ist die Support Liste natürlich nicht up to date: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z170 Extreme4/#Storage

Wen interessiert die Support-Liste, die pflegt bzgl. SSDs eh kein Hersteller wirklich umfassend.

NVME ist NVME. Hier werden ja nur die PCIe Lanes weiter geleitet. Da steckt kein Controller drin der entscheidet ob kompatibel oder nicht. Und von der Anbindung her kannst du auch die volle Bandbreite nutzen.
