Probleme mit Pioneer DVR-215

Servus,
hab mir mal wieder ne neuen DVD-Brenner gegönnt. Ist wie der Überschrift nen Pioneer DVR-215. Eingebaut, angeschlossen. Wird erkannt. Soweit alles ok. Firmware update auf die neuste Version gemacht. Alles Prima. DVD versucht zu brennen. Klappt nicht. Drei Rohlinge schon verbraten (verschiedene Geschwindigkeiten getestet, 4x,8x,16x). Rohlinge sind gute Verbatims DVD-R 16Fach. Daran dürfts nicht liegen. Nero brennt zwar aber entweder beim Brennen oder beim Überprüfen bricht es ab und der Brenner verschwindet auch ausm Explorer bzw. GeräteManager (Nero meldet auch etwas wie "Brennvorgang abgebrochen, Reset erfolgt. Oder sowas inner Richtung).
Der Brenner hängt am 5. SATA Port von dem Board. Modus steht wegen den Festplatten auf AHCI, ein Raid wird nicht betrieben

ich schätze mal, darin liegt der hund begraben. lief er davor nicht richtig oder warum musstest du ein update machen?

Bei einem Brenner sollten Firmwareupdates vor allem die Brennqualität mit neueren Medien verbessern. Und da ist es schon sinnvoll, diese ab und zu einzuspielen.

Zum Problem:
RW auch schon probiert?
Kannst du die Qualität der versuchten gebrannten Rohlinge testen oder werden diese gar nicht erkannt?

also erkennen tut er die schon, bringt aber nichts weil die daten ja nich korrekt zu ende geschrieben werden. firmware update hab ich wie bereits schon gesagt wurde gemacht, um generell bessere ergebnisse zu erzielen (is ja normal, dass man bei brennern generell die firmware updaten sollte)

rws hab ich grad keine zuhause

noch irgendwelche vorschläge?

edit2: grad mal die dvd checken lassen, cd-dvd speed von nero sagt alles was gebrannt wurde is gut. aber 55% von der dvd sind mir insgesamt zu wenig . lol

Dürfte am AHCI Mode liegen, hab schon einige male gelesen das der AHCI Mode bei Brennern Probleme machen könnte.

Schwachsinn, ein Firmware-Update sollte man immer machen, wenn ein neues verfügbar ist!
Der Sinn des Firmware-Updates ist folgender, dass Brenner-interne Rohlingstabellen erneuert werden & damit die Brennqualität den aktuellen Hersteller-Chargen angepasst wird!

Diesen Effekt bekommt man praktisch fast nur durch eigene Qualitätsscans mit (geeignetes Leselaufwerk vorausgesetzt)!

Servus,
also AHCI ausschalten geht ja ohne weiteres nicht. Windows startet dann ja nicht mehr. Hab inzwischen auch schon nen anderen SATA-Port probiert (im Moment hängt der Brenner am 4. Port, habe auch schon den SATA-RAID Anschluss vom JMicron Controller probiert und im BIOS zwischen AHCI und IDE geswitched. Allerdings bleibt Windows dann beim Booten hängen (kein BSOD)).

Grad hab ich mein 32BIT Windows gebootet und bisher zwei DVDs ohne Probleme gebrannt. Da stellt sich mir die Frage: Vista Problem mit dem Brenner? 64Bit Problem? Oder hat meine Vista Installation einfach nen Schuss?

huhu,

mit meinen DVR-212 habe ich dieses Problem leider auch. Vor der Installation vom SP1 lief der Controller im AHCI Mode,
aber seit ich das SP1 aufgespielt habe gabs immer Abbrüche beim Brennen oder Auslesen, mal bei 5%, mal bei 50%, immer unterschiedlich.

Nach über 10 zerschossenen Rohlingen und 3mal neuaufsetzen des Systems hab ich's dann auch mal auf Legacy IDE gestellt und siehe da es läuft ohne Probleme.
Es liegt also definitiv am SP1, keine Ahnung was MS da wieder für'n M... gebaut hat

Achso, von AHCI auf IDE umstellen im BIOS sollte eigentlich gehen, nur andersrum würde es nicht funktionieren ...

Servus,
nein von AHCI auf IDE ging auch nicht. Habs ja ausprobiert. Hab Windows jetzt neuinstalliert und den Brenner jetzt am JMicron im IDE Modus laufen (damit meine Festplatten weiter als AHCI betrieben werden können).

Aber danke für die Information das es am SP1 liegt!

Das Problem das der Brenner sich so wie es ausschaut aufhängt habe ich auch. Sowohl beim einlesen als auch beim brennen bleibt mei DVR 215 gerne mal an willkürlichen STellen stehen.
Die Software Nero 7 auf aktuellem Stand kriegt davon nichts mit. Der brenner dreht auch auf voller geschwindigkeit weiter nur geschrieben wird nix mehr. Abhilfe schaft nur ein Neustart.
Hilft hier das umstellen von AHCI auf IDE oder kann es Sein das der Brenner sich nicht mit den Taijo Yuden DVDs verträgt?
Hardware schaut wie folgt aus:
Mobo: MSI P35 Platinum Bios 1.6
CPU C2Q6600 @ stock
Ram: 2x2GB Patriot DDR2800 CL5
Graka: PNY 8800GTX
Brenner: Pioneer DVR 215BK
OS Vista Business x64 SP1

Der Brenner hängt wie die Festplatte am ICH9R vom Board, der JMicron ist ausgeschaltet.
Mit ist aufgefallen das der Brenner vermehrt zu Abbrüchen neigt wenn ich die Geschwindigkeit limitiere also bei Nero vorgebe das nur auf 8x gebrannt werden soll. lasse ich die Geschwindigkeit auf maximum stehen brennt er die Rohlinge zuverlässiger aber fabriziert immer noch Abbrüche was bei den teuren Taijos nicht schön ist.
liegt es wirklich am AHCI, ich würde nur sehr ungern umstellen.

Für das Problem wird es wohl keine Lösung seitens Pioneer mehr geben. Weiß jemand ob das Nachfolgemodell DVR-216 im AHCI Modus fehlerfrei läuft?
