Ich hatte ja erzählt dass ich neulich bei Avatar in Köln war. Und dort war mir neben den großartigen Jungs aus Schweden noch eine Band aufgefallen, die als eine von 2 Vorbands das Vorprogramm geprägt hat. Und zwar 3 Jungs aus Neuseeland, die nicht nur ihre Performance mit einem Haka begannen, sondern mir danach auch ein Grinsen aufs Gesicht gezaubert haben, das ich nicht mehr loswurde.
Einfach Metal Marke "amtlich und ohne Umwege mit Wucht auf's Fressbrett", gefühlt inspiriert von Sepultura, und offenbar auf Maori-Sprache (vermute ich mal) gesungen, denn Englisch war das nicht. Egal, ganz großer Spaß! Es gab sogar eine beachtliche Wall of Death, dafür dass es Vorprogramm war. Daher hier eine kleine Kostprobe:
Alien Weaponry - Mao Moko
