PC aufrüsten oder nur RAM ?

Hi Boardies!

Mein PC läuft seit einigen Monaten sehr langsam. Windows braucht auch ewig bis die ganzen Programme geladen sind. Ich weiß es nicht, ob es nur ein RAM-Stück mehr Geschwindigkeit bringt ? Wenn ja, welchen RAM sollte ich nehmen ? Was würdet ihr mir empfehlen ?

also so wie ich das sehe brauchst du Sd-ram und da kannst auch nicht mehr als probieren.
Wenn du noch geld in die kiste stecken willst, dann gleich einen 512 Mb riegel

Nunja, ich würde dir dazu raten dir nen neuen PC zu kaufen, wenn dein System dir zu langsam ist - denn aufrüsten ist etwas teuer, selbst CL4-1066 DDR2 ist billiger als neuer SDRAM.
Irgendsowas wie AM2+ mit 4000 X2 oder so, sollte billig werden und aufrüstbar bleiben.
 
Naja momentan bin ich Pleite. Welchen RAM könntets ihr empfehlen ? Gibt es eine bestimmte Marke oder kann man auch NO-Name benutzen ? Ich tu meistens nur mit Office-Produkten arbeiten. Da würde doch der Rechner noch reichen, wenn ich den RAM einbaue ?

jo für office ist der ausreichend, hab selbst einen 2,4 Nw noch hier und der reicht da dicke,
NoName (OEM) tut's auch schau zu, dass du 2 seitigen Ram kriegst, und hol dir nichts von ebay sondern geh in den Laden, da kannst die meist auch wieder zurückgeben wenn sie inkompatibel sind oder Probs machen.

Hm ist keine schlechte Idee burnout. Jedoch wollte ich meinen anderen Rechner aufrüsten, und nicht einen neuen kaufen.

wie burnout150 schon sagte beidseitiger ram Chips auf beiden Seiten hängt mit den Speicherchips selbst zusammen und meist laufen die 2 seitigen besser, weil eine größere Menge an kleineren Speicher(chips) verbaut sind.
du kannst ja 512 mit 8*64(MB) erreichen, oder aber auch mit 16*32(MB)
wenn du dann 2 seitige Rams hast , hast du mit Sicherheit noch 16*32mb und damit sollte dein Speichercontroller keine Probleme machen.

Edit: wegen dem 2.ten Rechner, was sollen wir damit? :)
Der Ram in dem beträgt 1 Gb und ist auf 333 Mhz getaktet.
Mehr würde ich da aber auch nicht reinstecken, da es verschwendung ist :)

Besten Dank an euch allen! Werde dann doch noch 512er Baustein besorgen. Beim zweiten Rechner steigt die CPU öfters sehr schnell sehr hoch... zb. beim konvertieren.
