What this means is the AI can see ahead of where its planning to drive and if there is a point in space where it's going to intersect with another vehicle, player or AI, it will adjust its path according to rules. They'll include aggression, overtaking and avoiding a collision but for now the rule is to always avoid / pass. The systems are all in initial testing with default parameters but the results are very promising with AI able to breeze past another car with great accuracy and efficiency, much more so than the current system. Next up is to enhance the detection accuracy as well as the decision so AI can slow / brake to stay behind another vehicle.
