Intels Prozessor-Preispläne
Der Prozessormarkt ist hart umkämpft. Auch Intel hat dies erkannt und bereis bis Mitte 2001 grobe Preisvorstellungen für den Pentium 4, Pentium 3 und den Celeron geäußert.
Prozessor-Neuvorstellungen werden im Mai erfolgen, wo der 1.7GHz Pentium 4 der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert wird. Die Vorstellung des mit 1,13MHz getakteten Pentium III sowie die Veröffentlichung des Celeron mit 850MHz wird vermutlich ebenfalls am gleichen Tag erfolgen. Folgende Preise hat Intel angedacht:
