Microsoft startet Beta-Test für Windows 2000 SP4

Microsoft hat alle Beta-Tester angeschrieben, daß demnächt der Beta-Test des ServicePack4 für Windows 2000 beginnt. Alle registrierten Beta-Tester können sich ab sofort für den Test anmelden. Wann das ServicePack auch für den Endnutzer zur Verfügung stehen wird, ist in dieser frühen Phase noch nicht absehbar.

Folgende Mail wurde von Microsoft an einen Beta-Tester verschickt:

Thank you for your participation in the Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) beta program. We are in the process of taking nominations for the Windows 2000 SP4 Beta Program. Because you actively tested the Windows 2000 SP3 beta we would like to invite you to beta test the next Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4).

Our goal for the Windows 2000 SP4 beta program is to have a well-targeted group of testers who can actively participate and provide feedback to our development team.
