Natürlich gibt es Hardware-Software-Tools mit denen man alles möglich anstellen kann. Aber aus Gründen erwähne ich diese nicht und zweitens sind diese nicht massentauglich.

520-Byte-Sektor? WTF? Sounds intressting.
Wo (als Otto Normalverbraucher) treffe ich auf solche Advanced Format Drives mit mehr als 512/4096-Byte-Sektoren?
Was sind die Vorteile?

kommt ziemlich am Ende (hier den erweiterten Test nach mehreren Stunden abgebrochen von mir, Betriebsstundenzähler zeigt auch 0 Stunden [also erster Test nach dem Auspacken der Ware], und ich habe sie als ok wahrgenommen und wollte nicht weiter warten):

Mein (neueres) smartmon/Festplatte hat mit ihren 64213 Betriebsstunden etwas mehr zu erzählen. Keine Ahnung was davon relevant und was Käse ist. Habe smartmon noch nie benutzt.

Ich nehme an Du meinst diesen Bereich.

Interessant ist, #1 heißt bei mir nicht " Conveyance offline"?

Wofür diese Tests stehen ist mir nicht ganz klar. Und wenn "LifeTime(hours)" für den Zeitpunkt steht wann diese Tests zuletzt ausgeführt worden sein sollen, dann kann da glaube ich etwas nicht stimmen.
# 1 Short offline @ 27045 h könnte passen, da ich (durch Ausschaltabbrüche, OC-Abstürze, etc.?) fehlerhafte/schwebende Sektoren hatte, alle Tests mit der WD-Service-Software ausgeführt habe. Dementsprechend müsste # 2 Extended offline auch bei 27045 h stehen. (Ob ich schon mal bei 3899 h einen Extended-Test gemacht habe kann ich mich nicht mehr erinnern.)

Das gewünschte Ergebnis hab ich damals erreicht - zu erfahren ob das Laufwerk weiterhin vertrauenswürdig ist. Alle fehlerhafte/schwebende Sektoren wurde in die P/G-List-Table eingetragen und SMART zeigt wieder 0 fehlerhafte Sektoren an.

Super, danke. Dann lösche ich jetzt die alte HDD und sie geht zu eBay.
 
Dran denken, nach dem Löschen bei der alten Platte ebenfalls mit CrystalDiskInfo nach dem Rechten zu sehen und (zur evtl. späteren Beweisführung) einen Screenshot (sowie Fotos von allen Seiten) davon zu machen.

Edit:
a) Um ganz sicher zu gehen müsste man den Inhalt beider Platten nochmal auslesen und vergleichen lassen (inkl. Prüfsummen). Es könnten ja trotzdem Übertragungs-/Schreib- oder Dateisystemfehler an irgendeiner Stelle aufgetreten sein.

b) Hast Du von den Daten die jetzt auf der neuen Platte sind noch ein Backup auf einer weiteren Platte? :stacheln:

Trotzdem unnötiger Bullsh*t. Die können unendlich viele IDs vergeben. Da muss man keine 2 oder mehr Werte in ein Feld quetschen.
Und das Übersetzen bzw. richtige Interpretieren der ausgelesenen Werte ist Sache von CDI.
