Taipei, April 16, 2003 --- Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS), a leading supplier of core logic and graphics chipsets, announced today that they have extended their long term chipset license agreement with Intel Corporation. Following this extension, Silicon Integrated Systems has certain rights to produce chipsets that are compatible with Intel Pentium 4® microprocessors operating at an 800MHz system bus speed when those processors are formally released.

"Having a long term license to produce chipsets for Intel“s Pentium 4 microprocessor has been an important element of SiS's business," said Michael Chen, President and CEO of SiS. "We are pleased to have this agreement with Intel." Specific details of the agreement are confidential.
