Also meine Grafikkarte faltet momentan schon richtig. Dem Spass kann ich auch zugucken. Jetzt muss ich nur noch die Cpu zu mehr als 25% kriegen. Das ist für mich nicht ganz leicht weil ich in der cmd bisher nicht mehr als Ip config-all gemacht habe. Naja ich bleib mal am Ball.

Mit dem configonly, ist eig. ganz einfach
1.) Verknüpfung zu F@H erstellen.
2.) Eigenschaften der Verknüpfung und bei Befehl "-configonly" dranhängen
3.) Verknüpfung ausführen
4.) Den Anweisungen folgen, Enter bestätigt das, was in [ ] steht, wenn yess/no, dann mit yes oder no antworten.
5.) Change Advanced Option -> yes
6.) Additional Client Parameters -> "-smp"
7.) Sooft Enter drücken, bis das Fenster weg geht
8.) Verknüpfung löschen oder -configonly wieder rausmachen und mit SMP folden.
Wenn schon eine WU in Arbeit ist, wird diese zuerst fertiggemacht, dann wird erst eine SMP WU gezogen.
(Oder manuell, Client beenden, im Verzeichnis dann work, queueinfo.dat, unitinfo.txt löschen, neustarten )

Ich glaub, dein P3 hat kein SSE2 da stürzt SMP ab, geht nur mit "-noasm" oder Standardclient.

Versteh ich nicht, warum soll es an etwas anderem liegen? 2x den Standard client ist kein Problem der braucht kein SSE2 und wie du schon sagtest, SSE2 gabs erst mit dem P4 und du hast eine P3 also funktioniert der SMP client nicht - der Standard client schon.

2 core i7 verbrauchen aber auch mehr strom als die 2 p3

Ich glaube als ersatz für die reicht auch ein oller AMD Athlon X2 5050e oder so. den dann noch ein bisschen übertackten dann hält sich dass die waage. das P3 system Verbraucht komplett 124W im load.

wie schnell is eig. die ps3? also die iterationen pro sekunde die man sich beim gpu folding anzeigen lassen kann.

also es sind ja Tualatins aber die P3-S mit 512 Kb L2 Chache jede CPU hat einen Verbracuh von Ca 33 W.

je nach WU eine PPD von 100-130 beduetet also 3,9-3,1W pro point (je 1 cpu)

nee iterationen pro sekunde kann ich leider nicht anzeigen. Ist ja console, hab ja den SMP doppelt nur halt ohne smp.
aber performace pro watt ist göttlich

opterron 244 für smp würd es ja reichen.

hab leider das problem ,dass ich aktuell blank bin, wäre aber gut fürs team

Die Rechnung geht nicht ganz auf, deine CPu läuft ja nicht 1 h sondern 24.
Damit sind es pro Tag 33*24 W = 792 W.
Dann haste noch 0.16 point/W .
Ich finde das nicht so berauschend meine CPU hat 1,25 points/W.

hast aber auch einene quad am laufen oder? und bedenke dass die P3 schon ein paar jahhre aufm buckel haben. Was auch langsam ein problem wird. Hab ja keine möglichkeit dies zu verbessern.

nimmst dazu noch den stromverbauch von insgesammt 24H und teilst es durch die PPD.
Aber wie Blitzmerker grad auf seine Formel kommt ist mir grad schleierhaft.

Ich hab ja nicht mal den Hunni, musst ja irgendwie meinen Geburtstag zahlen, und wollte eben nicht alles aufm letzten drücker machen. Jetzt hab ich halt Ruhe bin dafür aber blank.

Effizienz = Ertrag/Aufwand
Ertrag = Punkte in 24 h (PPD)
Aufwand = Stromverbrauch in 24 h
Also Momentanverbrauch in W/h *24.

=>

PPD/(Stromverbrauch*24)=Punkte pro Wattstunde.

Je höher desto besser.
Deine Formel ist umgedreht, je kleiner desto besser, aber trotzdem falsch. Der PC läuft ja nicht nur 1h für 100 Punkte sondern einen Tag.

@ alffrommars lad dir mal Fahsy oder sowas runter dmiat bracuhst du dann die grafische oberflache nicht mehr. Musst dann unter Add folder einfach den Pfad deines Folding@home ordners angeben. Da siehst du dann die PPD den wert der WU , Status der Bearbeitung in % , Deadline, uvm.


Von irgendwas müssen die gerhinzellen doch auch leben
