Etwas überraschend (obwohl die Tage schon erste Gerüchte aufkamen) hat vg247.com einige Infos eines PSP NAchfolgers aufgetan.
Keine harten Fakten, aber so wie es sich liest, scheint wohl ziemlich sicher was dran zu sein:


PSP2: Touch-screen, two cameras, games for “end 2010, beginning 2011″

• MCV rumoured last week that Sony “could” announce PSP2 at E3.
• VG247 goes digging. According to a source familiar with the matter, it’s “99 percent” it isn’t an E3 reveal.
• But there’s much, much more.
• Multiple British sources have confirmed that PSP2 NDAs have been in place at publishers and developers for many months.
• PSP2 has two cameras, one forward and one backward facing.
• It has a touch-screen, but apparently it has retained the trademark physical PlayStation buttons.
• UK sources were previously working towards a “2010″ release. This is now “2011″.
• One source would be “amazed” if there was any kind of physical media involved. We’ve been told it “could” be 3G-enabled, as opposed to the WiFi-only PSP go. This bit was sketchy.
• Multiple PSP2 games are being made in Britain right now. Some have even already been canned.
• There have been “finished units” in the UK, but we haven’t spoken to anyone that’s seen a final case.
• When asked directly about reveal timing, one source said, “If the games were aiming for end 2010, beginning 2011, and now it’s a 2011 release, I’d say a gamescom or TGS announce for launch early next year”.
• One source told us the machine is “fucking powerful,” being based on a four-core Cell CPU. PS3 runs on an eight-core version.

An der PSP störte mich die Position der Schultertasten, und ebenso, dass 2 Stück fehlten.
Die könnten die Buttons auch an der Rückseite der PSP2 anbringen.
Ich fand es immer grauenhaft, im Liegen zu spielen.
(Da taten die Zeigefinger oftmals weh.)

Hat mich nie gestört, hab' aber auch große Bratzen.

Auf dem Papier, technisch, schon mal ein heißes Eisen.
Müssen nur genug gute Titel in der Pipeline sein, aber die werden dann wohl alle über PSN kommen oder?

Ja, wieder ein Eigenformat von Sony - nicht weiter tragisch. Aber die Befüllung liefe dann nur über PSN, schätze ich. Wie bei der PSP Go!.

Ich vermute mal dass man sich die Spiele auf den Speicherkarten ganz normal im Laden kaufen kann.
Nach dem Desaster mit der PSP Go kann Sony es nicht wagen noch einmal diesen Weg zu gehen.
Gerade bei Handhelds ist das Geschäft mit dem geschenkten Spielen wie z.B zu Weihnachten oder Geburtstag wichtig.

Ich bin begeistert von der Konsole.
Es ist quasi alles dabei was ich bei der PSP vermisst habe.
Ein Preis bis zu 300€ würde mich zum Realesekäufer machen.

Ist schon ein Monsterteil, ja.

Aber mit Spielen auf (schreibgeschützten?) Speicherkarten müsste ja heißen, dass man Musik, Filme, Bilder, Profil usw. (ggf. auch Speicherstände) auf einem Zweitmedium unterbringen müsste - ergo interner Speicher oder eine zweite Karte.

Wird sich zeigen, hofftl. läuft das so mit Spielen auf Medien, PSN/Store mach ich auf keinen Fall mit. ;-)

afaik 16GB interner Flash.
Aber wer sagt das der propriortäre Kartenslot nicht auch nocrmal SD Karten lesen können soll. Also Backup funktion durchaus denkbar.

Bild halt.
Was gesagt wurd ist das Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid) an einem Spiel arbeitet dass das ermöglichen soll. Näheres dazu will er zur E3 bekanntgeben.
Das das allgemein so sein soll wurde nirgendwo lgesagt.

I like what i see!

An sich schon intressant, aber ich werde mir erst, die PSP holen, wenn die das gezeigt hat, was versprochen ist.
Für mich ist die NGP (was fürn komischer name?!?^^) von den rohen Daten her sehr ansprechend.
Red Dead Redemption wäre ein richtig geiles Spiel neben Uncharted und Killzone.
