Wo BIOS Update downloden?

Hallo

Hoffe hier kann mir jemand Auskunft geben, mit der Suchfunktion kann ich nichts finden.

Ich möchte von einem core 2 duo E6750 auf einen Quad core aufrüsten. Mein Board
EVGA 680i SLI bräuchte dafür ein Bios Update. Auf der Seite von EVGA kann ich aber
keine Verbindung zum Server aufbauen, es steht da zwar ein Hinweis daß es mit Chrome
Probs beim Download gibt aber es funktioniert bei mir weder mit Firefox, noch mit dem
Internetexplorer.
Ist das ein dauerhaftes Problem bei EVGA? gibts das BIOS woanders zum Dounload? oder
ist der Support für ältere Boards eingestellt?
Kann mir da wer helfen? Danke für eure antworten im Voraus.

Konnte es mit Opera problemlos laden, ist im Anhang.

Evga anrufen?

Verbindung über Zugang bei Bekannten versuchen?

... oder einfach mal dort anrufen. Die können über etwaige Ausfälle eher berichten, als einer hier.


Ich würde, was bios-updates angeht, niemandem außer mir selbst trauen. Also falls du vorhattest, jemanden für dich das update zu downloaden, damit es hier zur Verfügung gestellt werden kann.

Das evga 680i SLI kommt mit C2Quads nur bedingt wenn überhaupt zurecht. Hab hier noch eins neben mir liegen!

Genau auf dieser Seite
ich kann alles passend auswählen, aber wenn ich die ISO File Downloaden will
kommt die Meldung "Verbindung zum Server unterbrochen"

No, the 680i chipset does not support the 45nm quads.
IMHO, you should overclock your current Q6600 to 3.0Ghz and get better performance for free.

Laut Beschreibung soll das neueste Bios auch neuere Quads unterstützen auch die 45er.
Hab ich das falsch gelesen?

Soweit ich noch weiß ist das ein Hardwareproblem beim 680I LSI von EVGA, nicht zu lösen per Bios!

Sucks NVIDIA claimed 45nm quad-core support and it really doesn't work. NVIDIA is saying that Intel made changed to their 45nm processors after they made the claim, but who knows.

I shot an e-mail to eVGA on the matter and they replied with this statement:

Our 680i motherboards will not work properly with the QX9650, only the 45nm dual cores will be supported. The 45nm quads will have issues on the 680i, the 780i which was released today has full support for the QX9650 and the other 45nm quad cores. http://www.evga.com/articles/385.asp


Just for fun I asked eVGA if a new revision was in the works and the answer is no.

so ein Sch... dann hat sich das ganze eh erledigt.

Wenn ich schon ein neues Board brauche dann eins mit modernerem Sockel, soll heißen
gleich ein neues System, aber dafür hab ich jetzt keine Kohle.

hab den im Moment stabil bei 3GHz mit boxed Kühler max 57° im Prime95.
Werd mich also noch 1-2 Jahre damit zufrieden geben, ganz schlecht is er ja wirklich nicht

Sorry neu hier und sehe das es was länger hr ist, aber ich kann ein qx9650 mit meinem evga 680i sli fahren!! Aber!!!!!!!!!!! Jetzt komms, nur mit 9x Multi da trotz offener multi, basis CPU, spärt das board den multi!!

Also für ein OCer wie ich kein angenehmer combo, nur ärger.

Für ein normaler :-) nicht durchgeknallter, läuft das teil wunderbar mit 4x3000 und relative kühl.

Aber ich würde trotzdem jedem abrahten den QX9650 zu kaufen für den 680i sli.

Habe es jetzt auf mein ASUS P5e-VM HDMI mit 3800Mhz (Wakü)! und kann ich nur empfelen.(HTPC)

Sorry mein Deutsch ist nicht das beste.
