GeForce FX 5200 PCI von PNY
PNY stellt mit der GeForceFX 5200 PCI eine Grafikkarte der GeForceFX Serie vor, die nicht wie die anderen Modelle auf den AGP-Slot setzt, sondern über den herkömmlichen PCI-Slot angeschlossen wird. Neben 128 MByte Arbeitsspeicher stattet PNY die Karte mit einem MPEG2-Decoder und TV Encoder aus.
So verfügt die Karte über folgende Features:

Die GeForceFX 5200 PCI von PNY erlaubt es so zwar auch ältere PCs aufzurüsten, die noch nicht über einen AGP-Port verfügen, optimale Leistung erreicht man durch diese Lösung jedoch nicht. Mit einem Verkaufspreis von etwa 100 - 120 Dollar stellt sie für den ein oder anderen Kunden aber eventuell eine sinnvolle Ergänzung dar. Wann die GeForceFX 5200 PCI in Deutschland verfügbar sein wird, ist leider noch unklar.
