Also erkannt hat er sie. Ich wuerd mal sagen, du drehst ein bisschen an den Reglern oder guckst dir Yast an.

Ich habe ja gestern sogar schon Sound gehört, bloß jetzt weiß ich gar nix mehr. Mit KRecord habe ich es nicht hinbekommen, muss es unter Sound in Yast aufgelistet sein, denn da ist nur meine Soundkarte?

Naja es ist schwierig sowas aus der Ferne zu loesen, deswegen sagte ich ja, du sollst dir die Optionen von Yast und KMix angucken. Vielleicht auch mal Artsd, den Soundserver abschalten oder mal ins Kontrollzentrum von KDE gehen.

Re: Ubuntu(Grub Error17)

Ich habe wegen vieler Fehler von Linux 9.3 und des sehr langsamen Systems gewechselt auf Ubuntu, die Installation verläuft gut keine Probleme, doch wenn ich das System neustarten muss und er Grub lädt sagt er Error 17. Hat jemand eine Idee?

Hättest du Google benutzt, wüsstest du schonmal was der Error 17 überhaupt ist :stacheln:

Dieser Fehler tritt auf, wenn GRUB das Dateisystem der Partition nicht erkennt.

Wird denn in der grub.conf die richtige Festplatte / Partition angesprochen? root (x,y)

Hast du ReiserFS benutzt? Wenn alles nichts hilft mal mit Ext3 testen.

wie ext3 funktioniert nicht?

wenn du hilfe willst musst du auch mit ein paar informationen kommen. funktioniert ext3 auf deinem rechner nicht und du musstest deswegen resierfs benutzen? oder kann dein grub deine ext3 partition nicht lesen? und wie ist deine grub configuration? welche sind deine boot und root partitionen?


so kann man dir wirklich garnicht helfen...
 
Die Platte ist mit Ext3 formatiert und neu partitioniert. Oder soll ich die Platte im Setup mit Reiser formatieren? Wenn ich Grub lade sagt er Error17. Boot ist die Platte mit der Linux Partition. Wie kann ich die Grub Konfiguration einsehen und verändern, unter Google habe ich gesucht, dort steht ich soll Ubuntu mit dem richtigen Format? installieren und wenn der Fehler dann auftaucht mit Error 17 mit Knoppix booten und die Grub ändern.

Sorry ich habe noch wenig Durchblick.

Die grub.conf kannst du verändern in dem du in der Konsole als root folgendes eingibst

nano /boot/grub/menu.lst

Soll ich mal Neuinstallieren und dann versuchen zu starten und wenn es nicht klappt mit Knoppix booten und die Grub Konfiguration mal posten? Was da genau wie eingestellt werden muss weiß ich selber nicht so genau.

sag mal willüüü, kann es sein dass du ziemliches pech mit linux hast? bei dir treten fehler auf die ich in 4 jahren linuxnutzung noch nicht hatte o_O
 
welche Linux Distri hast du denn jetzt installiert? Gentoo oder Suse. Denn wenn du gentoo drauf hast ist die grub konfiguration unter /boot/grub/grub.conf zu finden.
