ATi entwickelt 3D Chip für Handys

ATi hat den ersten 3D Grafik-Chip für Handys veröffentlicht. Der Imageon 2300 ist ein Co-Prozessor für Handys und PDAs, bietet 2D- und 3D Berechnungen mit bis zu 2MB Frame-Buffer, Video- und Image-Capturing, sowie MPEG 4 Wiedergabe. Für Kamera-Handys werden mit ihm Auflösungen von bis zu 2 Megapixel unterstützt.
