Providing a dramatic close to Microsoft's 2008 Game Developers Conference keynote address, lead designer Cliff Bleszinski of Epic Games announced that the heroic saga of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad will continue exclusively on Xbox 360 this fall withGears of War® 2.

This highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Gears of War delves deeper into humanity's struggle for survival against the nightmarish Locust Horde, and takes the high-definition visuals to a whole new level.

"To our team the original game was just a tease, the appetizer to the Gears of War characters and new style of gameplay. Teil 1 war echt geil. In meinen Augen eines der besten Coop-Games überhaupt. Blöd ist nur, dass solche Spiele immer so schnell vorbei sind. Naja, das wird man wohl der neuen Grafik zu verdanken haben. Das Leveldesign nimmt soviel Zeit in Anspruch, dass die Anzahl der Levels klein gehalten werden muss.

PS: Optisch schöner Sammelthread, das Wallpaper hab ich mir auf der Stelle runtergeladen

Wow, da bin ich ja mal gespannt. Ich habe zwar vermutet, dass man sich nicht auf dem ersten Teil ausruhen würde - oder eher gesagt nicht lange auf die Einnahmen eines Zweiten verzichten mag - trotzdem kam die Ankündigung für mich überraschend.
Mir hat der erste Teil massig Spaß gemacht - hoffentlich schafft der zweite Teil den Anschluss.

Ach ja: Wen (wie mich) der Schriftzug im Wallpaper störte, hier Abhilfe:
natürlich könnte man das Logo auch gleich entfernen ^^

Habe den ersten Teil mal von der Videothek ausgeliehen für PC einfach hammer dieses Spiel der zweite Teil wird denke ich mal viel viel besser.
Wann wird den der zweite Teil für PC erscheinen überhaupt.

Ich hab mir vor ein paar Tagen den Trailer angesehen und war echt geflasht, das die Grafik auf der 360 wirklich top sein kann. Hut ab vor den Programmierern. Allerdings bezweifle ich eine Veröffentlichung in Deutschland nach dem neuesten Stand der Jugendschutzdebatte. Aber wir leben ja in Europa mit vielen Nachbarländern um uns rum
